The bounds say one thing.
The coordinates say another.
Find every declared bbox that differs from the coordinates it describes. Review the exact change, fix the bounds, and download a clean GeoJSON file.
Bring your GeoJSON
Your coordinates stay in this browser tab. Only the file you choose is read.
Review the differences
Range bands are a longitude guide, not a geographic map.
Your repaired file
Only bbox fields are intentionally updated. JSON formatting is rewritten, and browser number parsing can round unusually precise numeric literals. Compare this preview with your original input.
One focused fix.
No quiet edits.
We inspect bbox members on the root, features and geometries. A box that differs from the tight calculated extent is flagged—even when its larger bounds may still be valid GeoJSON.
What this checker does
- Checks 2D and 3D positions in WGS84 longitude / latitude order.
- Handles already-cut geometry on both sides of the antimeridian.
- Changes only existing bbox values, or adds a root bbox when you ask.
What it doesn’t do
It does not fix coordinates, projection, polygon topology or invalid shapes, and it is not a full GeoJSON validator.
